License to Carry & Renewal

This minimum 4 hour class is comprised of classroom instruction and proficiency testing. It satisfies all requirements as mandated by the state of Texas for those acquiring their License to Carry(LTC).

Students will be provided a LTC-100 form upon successful completion of all class requirements. Registration fees will cover appropriate range fees and target. A handgun (.32 caliber or larger) and 50 rounds of ammunition are required for proficiency testing. Rental handguns and ammunition are available, but not included in course fee.

THIS CLASS DOES NOT CONTAIN FIREARMS INSTRUCTION. YOU MUST BE PROFICIENT WITH THE FIREARM YOU WILL BE SHOOTING WHEN CLASS BEGINS. STUDENTS WITH INADEQUATE EXPERIENCE OR WHO ARE LEGALLY INELIGIBLE TO HOLD A CHL WILL BE EXCUSED FROM THE CLASSROOM.

To complete your online application with the State of Texas go to https://txapps.texas.gov/txdps/chl/and apply for an original concealed handgun license. This process may be done before or after you take the LTC class with us.
